Hi All and welcome to Episode 100 of The Sounds You Hear!!!
What a milestone but I’m finally here, the big 100, it’s taken well – 99 previous shows to get here but I’m proud of this little show that has found an audience, introduced so much dope new and old music and helped me join the dots between all the genres I love deeply.
This show for me is really about the musical story of my life and bringing all those disparate sounds together to tell a story about the sounds I hear.
While I do this with many new releases in this show, I’ve also brought many specials to the show.
I record it live in one take using 2 turntables and a microphone and the show is always based around my mood when I record it, so it can be upbeat, downtempo, jazzy, party filled or a mix of all of those elements in one show.
